VisionTEK’s UNITY™ product allows public safety users to securely exchange text messages, pictures and other types of files in real-time and to dynamically create response groups for emergency situations. These features are critical in numerous scenarios, allowing responders to obtain an accurate assessment and view of a situation prior to and during an incident.  For example, in the case of an unplanned chemical release, experts can instantly analyze pictures, maps, and descriptions of the scene.  A proper response team can then be assembled, and a tactical plan can be formulated and distributed efficiently to everyone involved. 

VisionTEK’s Radix™ XML Java based message switch provides customers with a secure management interface to a variety of backend systems and end-user applications, including VisionTEK’s Frontline™ products.  Radix provides access to these systems using a Web-based administration tool.  This tool simplifies the process of managing changes or updates to database interfaces and end user applications by bringing configuration changes to the switch level versus installing new software releases on the clients.   Radix is designed to allow multiple Radix switches to be easily connected together, allowing agencies to share information with other agencies in a real-time environment.
